And while I'm here, I'm going to say my (probably) final goodbye to my internet obsession.

I've been away. I finally managed to escape it all for a while. My home, the aberrant atmosphere, the bad memories... It's been a while. I needed that little push to go cold-turkey, sometimes the wisest option for giving up any addiction.

I'm back now, back to this homely little cesspool. But it's only for another couple days -- till Tuesday. I'm moving out.

I'm gonna have a little apartment room to call my own up in Chicago. It's finally happening. I never fathomed it would, down in that little rut I was in. I've quit my job, and I'm going for an interview in a decidedly similar little place in the burbs. It should feel like home, though much more agreeable. I'd been saving my money for the apartment renting for a little while prior to the trip, and thank god for family. They're helping out a little too. I'm definitely going to visit the sites where TDK was filmed, walk the streets that Heath walked clad in clown make-up, prosthetic scars and purple suit embellished with white make-up smudges and a few potato peelers. Probably.

I do have something to show for my absence, however. I've made some pics in photoshop, and a video -- my last, which I'll submit to YouTube tonight.

I'm barely going to be using either of my YouTube accounts from now on, if at all. Or this dA account. But I won't delete anything. I can't. I have videos, memories, and friends there, and here whom I may still wish to contact. Who knows. I don't plan things very well nowadays

I have missed the little conversations among those I often spoke to. The -real- friends. And many of them have probably forgotten me by now, they've probably grown unfamiliar to me.

Whatever doesn't kill you simply makes you stranger.
